Two More Guests!
3 October
We're thrilled to be able to confirm not just one, but two more guests who will be appearing at Who at Hoylake 2018: Michael Troughton and Toby Hadoke.

Michael Troughton is an actor and director, having appeared in numerous film, television and theatre roles, including Minder and The New Statesman.

Michael is probably best known to Doctor Who fans as Professor Albert in the 2014 Christmas Special, Last Christmas. He has also recorded a number of Big Finish Audio Productions. In 2011, his biography of his late father, Patrick Troughton (the Second Doctor), was published.

Toby Hadoke is an actor, writer and stand-up comedian. His one-man show, Moths Ate my Doctor Who Scarf, spawned an on/off three year tour in 2007, encompassing some international appearances, as well as a full cast audio adaptation. A sequel, My Stepson Stole My Sonic Screwdriver, was performed at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe.

Toby has moderated a number of Doctor Who DVD commentaries, and presented various documentaries. In 2013, he embarked on an epic quest in honour of Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary: to interview someone from every single Doctor Who story.

More recently, Toby wrote and starred in the BBC Radio 4 drama The Dad Who Fell to Earth, and wrote Grand Designs of the Third Kind.

His stand-up night, XS Malarkey, also recently celebrated its twentieth birthday.
